Georgia robber linked in Polk Co. robbery | Crime

Winter Haven, Fla. -- Detectives have linked a Bradenton man arrested in Georgia on robbery charges with the same crime in Winter Haven.

According to the Winter Haven Police Department, detectives received a tip that the man they were looking for in the Feb. 7 robbery of a CVS store in Winter Haven was 23-year-old Jonathon Fulford, of Bradenton.

Detectives found out Fulford was arrested in Glynn County, Georgia for a similar crime. Winter Haven detectives obtained a search warrant for Fulford's car based on similar comparisons to the clothing found in his car in Georgia with those used in the CVS robbery.

Detectives determined the clothing used in the robbery were the same as the ones recovered from his car. Also found, was a GPS containing other Florida CVS stores under past found locations. It is unclear yet if those stores were also robbed.

Winter Haven Police have charged Fulford with Burglary with Assault and Battery, Robbery and Possession of Oxycodone.
