PCSO and Seniors Vs. Crime want to know- Were you a victim of fraud?

Polk County, Florida-- Have you been ripped off by 42-year-old Shawn Jordan, 42?  Jordan is currently in the Polk County Jail on charges ranging from Battery and Trespassing, to Grand Theft, and Fraud.

Seniors vs. Crime, a joint partnership between the Florida Attorney General’s Office, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the Haines City Police Department, and senior citizen volunteers, has six listed complaints so far, and there may be others.

They work with Seniors who may have been victimized by fraud or who have serious consumer complaints.  For more information on their complaints, or about Seniors Vs. Crime, call their Haines City office at 419-3701.

Jordan’s scam isn’t new; he offered various home repair services to elderly or disabled victims with a request for payment up front, but then never returned to finish what he was paid to do.

Take a close look at his booking photo. If you’ve been scammed by Jordan, please call the PCSO at 863.298.6200.

You may also call Seniors Vs. Crime at 419-3701.

Let’s make sure Shawn Jordan is held accountable for taking advantage of senior citizens!

Jordan is currently in custody at the Polk County Jail on the following charges:

  • Battery
  • Trespassing
  • Scheming to Defraud
  • 3 counts of Grand Theft
