Winter Haven PD: Front-end loader stolen, possible cash reward for info | Crime
Winter Haven, Florida-- Winter Haven Police are investigating the theft of a front-end loader that was taken from a lot sometime between May 30, 2012 and June 6, 2012.
Police say that on May 30, the owner of the Kawasaki Z60 front-end/wheel loader parked the machinery in a lot at the intersection of Haynes Drive and Haynes Blvd., NW (inside of the Lakes at Lucerne subdivision) in Winter Haven.
The owner, according to WHPD, arrived back on June 6 to find the equipment gone. The loader is approximately 23,000 pounds and would obviously need a large truck and trailer to transport. The equipment has a root taker on the front and has a cab on the top for the driver, though the cab is not enclosed.
Police ask anyone who was in the area during this time-frame and possibly saw a large tractor-trailer sized vehicle at this location, or who has any information about this theft, to contact the Winter Haven Police Department at 863-291-5620 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a CASH reward.
