Winter Haven, Florida-- Police currently ask for the public's help in identifying a man who they say stole more than $3,000 worth of computer software from a Winter Haven Wal Mart.

According to WHPD, a black male entered the Wal Mart located at 7450 Cypress Gardens Blvd. on June 6 around 1:20 a.m. and walked  back to the electronics area of the store.

They say he then concealed the software packages inside of his backpack.

Management approached him and a struggle ensued, after which he fled the store in a black two-door Honda.

Police ask anyone who recognizes this man to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS (8477) or Officer Jodi Lott at 863-401-2256.

Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a CASH reward.
