Crime

Winter Haven, Florida - Police in Winter Haven say two armed robbery suspects are in custody, but they are still searching for a third.

Investigators say on Thursday night shortly before 10 o'clock, three suspects armed with a handgun robbed a Kmart store on Cypress Boulevard.

Witnesses reported the suspects fled in a gray Nissan.

About 10 minutes after the reported robbery, a Polk County Sheriff's deputy spotted the vehicle around Dundee Road and Buckeye Loop Road. Winter Haven Police arrived shortly after and attempted a vehicle stop, where the suspects then fled. The deputy and officer pursued the vehicle and captured one suspect, Michael James, after he fled on foot.

A Polk SO helicopter continued to follow the vehicle, and driver Bryan Olsen surrendered shortly afterwards.

The third suspect, Kareem Danell "SuWU" Archibald, is still at large, and police need help finding him.

Archibald is 6'1", about 160 pounds and is considered to be extremely dangerous.  Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Rod Esteve at 863-401-2256 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS (8477).

Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a CASH reward.
