Deputies: Gas station robbery suspect on the loose | Crime

Winter Haven, Florida-- Polk County Sheriff's Robbery detectives are seeking information about a business robbery that occurred in Winter Haven.

According to deputies, at 1:20 a.m. on Monday, August 6 the suspect entered the BP store located at 2600 Havendale Blvd in Winter Haven and asked to purchase cigarettes. When the victim started to complete the sale, the suspect pulled out a firearm and ordered the victim to give him money from the register.

Reports say the suspect then fled the area on foot.
