Sarasota, Florida -- Saltwater fishing is popular in Florida, but this Saturday you might want to try a local pond or lake, because you won't need a license.

State wildlife officials have designated Saturday, April 7 as a license-free fishing day.

Picking your destination might be the hardest part of this decision, because Florida has more than 3 million acres of lakes, ponds and reservoirs and 12,000 miles of fishable rivers, streams and canals.
