Polk County, Florida -- Polk County Sheriff's detectives arrested four convenience store workers for selling K-2 synthetic marijuana on Thursday.

According to the sheriff's office, 34-year-old Viral Patel of the Sunoco Superway store in Dundee told officers he sold the K-2 to pay a debt they owed and would "put s--- in a bag if it made me money." Viral admitted to selling the synthetic substance that resembles weed for the past few months.

Kinjal M. Patel, 32, was arrested at the same store for selling K-2. He was also arrested for twice texting a female undercover officer, offering her free K-2 for sex.

25-year-old Kelvin Patel and 51-year-old Vishnubhai Patel, of the Beverage Castle store in Lake Alfred, were arrested for selling K-2 after undercover officers had previously purchased the substance there.

However, no K-2 was recovered the on the day of the arrest.  Kelvin admitted to police having sold it, but stopped two or three months ago when he found out it was "bad stuff."

Detectives did seize a case of K-2 from the Sunoco Superway store.
