McKean Street closure starts Tuesday | News

Auburndale, Fla. -- Polk County has announced McKean Street, in Auburndale, will be closed intermittently from Recker Highway (CR 655), which is located .29 mile south of Hwy 92, to W Derby Avenue (CR 544A) for .25 mile.

The closure is required to install citrus storage tanks at Cutrale Citrus juice plant, and will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

The McKean Street project should be completed and the road reopened by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013. During the closure, please avoid this area.
