Permanent traffic change at S Lake Silver Dr. and Third St. NW | News

Winter Haven, FL— According to a recent release, a permanent traffic change will begin on Friday.

The release includes information regarding the road directly affected, and those surrounding:

"Effective Friday, June 29, 2012, all northbound traffic on Third Street NW will be required to veer  right at the Winter Haven Senior Adult Center and then stop at South Lake Silver Drive.  Motorists will then turn left or right onto South Lake Silver Drive to continue travel.

The through-movement northbound in front of the Garden Center is being eliminated; the southbound movement will not be affected. 

Northbound Third Street Northwest will now end at South Lake Silver Drive.

Informational signage will be in place for a limited time to further alert motorists of these changes.  Motorists are encouraged to drive with caution in the area during the transition to the new traffic pattern.
