TRAFFIC: U.S. 27 lane closure northbound due to crash | News

Waverly, Florida -- Polk County Sheriff's deputies are at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 27 near Cypress Gardens Blvd.

Authorities have shut down one northbound lane of U.S. 27 while crews work the crash site. Sources say at least one person has been seriously injured in the crash.

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route until further notice.
