6-month bridge rebuild begins Monday, road to close
Winter Haven, Florida—Motorists used to traveling 17th Street NW between Lake Howard and Havendale Boulevard will have to find an alternate route beginning Monday, September 24.
Crews will begin working to replace the 17th Street NW bridge, which spans the canal between lakes Cannon and Mirror.
The project will require closure of 17th Street NW in the area of the bridge. An alternate route will be required during the six-month project.
