Sarasota, Florida -- Saltwater fishing is popular in Florida, but this Saturday you might want to try a local pond or lake, because you won't need a license.

State wildlife officials have designated Saturday, April 7 as a license-free fishing day.

Picking your destination might be the hardest part of this decision, because Florida has more than 3 million acres of lakes, ponds and reservoirs and 12,000 miles of fishable rivers, streams and canals.

When asked if anyone has secured a spot on the 2012 Raiders he commented, “No one has a guaranteed spot.  They need to work hard on every play. They can't rely on their reputation or what they have done before, they have to prove to us that they want to be a Lakeland Raider."
